Max Out Fridays with student squatting weights

One Rep to Rule Them All

January 23, February 20, March 13, April 3

3 PM - 6 PM

Functional Fitness Room, Student Recreation Center

Max Out Fridays are open to all currently enrolled ISU students and gym members. 

Pre-registration preferred but drop-in permitted.

Test your one-rep maximum in the following lifts:

  • Bench
  • Squat
  • Deadlift

During each session:

  • Staff will be present to manage the flow, ensure safety, and provide guidance
  • Participants have three failed attempts, and test lifts in an organized format
  • Final results will be recorded and verified
  • Lifting results will be added to an official Max Out Friday leaderboard

Participants are encouraged to warm up in the main free weight area.

This is raw lifting event.  Wrist straps, knee sleeves, and lifting belts permitted.  Equipped powerlifting equipment, including squat suits and bench shirts, are not allowed.
